Gift of a Day

What a gift!  A new day has come and the dawn is here.  But, first, time to walk and talk with God.  Time taken to be still.  Time taken to think.  Time taken just to BE.  If this time is taken, everything else will fall into place.

When we enter our daily life of work and activity, we will take with us calmness, a peace that will sustain us throughout the day.  When we end our day, we need to realign ourselves to God, with thanksgiving in our hearts for Her wonderful gift of 24 hours.

Proof that God exists and that the Universe is a loving force is found in the gift of a new day.  No matter how much or how often we have erred during today, tomorrow is God’s gift to us so that we can try again to walk more closely with Her.

Jesus says, I'll help you

Through the storm and as you grow and evolve.

The day will come when just the thought of Me

will hold you steady.

Yea, the day will come when just feeling My Presence 

will hold you firm.

Invisible Chains

Yesterday felt as though chains were breaking around me

and I became free.

Chose to stay, focused on I am free.

It's True!  Freer I could never be.

What joy to know I am free,

Free to be me.

The shackles are broken.

Shackles of the mind.

My spirit is free to be.

Never shackled, my spirit deluded,

held itself down until pain born of ignorance

became labor pains of a new birth.

Reality is Me as spirit.

Truly, truly free

Fly, my spirit, fly.

The wheel of Karma

Turns in rhythmn of needs.

Each bucket drawn We may

or may not drink,

Depending upon our choice.

Choose carefully;

For with that  choice,

The cycle of lives may be complete

In this turn of the wheel.

The Workings of God's Plan

Do you know how God works in our lives?

If we'd only  open our eyes and see how neatly all things fall into place.

Nothing happens by coincidence.

Each little action has its individual meaning,

a needed piece in the puzzle of life.

Day by day, we  look at the pieces, wondering will it ever fit together.

While deep inside the puzzle has already been put together.

We just need listen to that Inner Guidance, and see how easily,

happily, beautifully our puzzle becomes TOGETHER.

Boot Straps

God's a'pullin'

at my boot straps.

He's told me many times,

how to go; and cause I didn't listen,

as well as I should,

He's got a'hold of my boot straps

and

He won't let go!

Once upon a time, I had a choice,

Free to do my thing;

But since I told Him,

"God, I'm Yours, Do with me what You will."

He's a'pullin' at my boot straps

and He won't let go!
